The DOZENKA is a powerful artifact of fable. It is a dodecahedron of unknown origin. It is unbreakable. It has 12 numbers etched into it. When rolled, lightning fills a space 9 tiles (45 feet) in every direction. Every character touched by the lightning feels an effect based on the number rolled.
A portal will open where the DOZENKA lands. This is a permanent door to another world. The DOZENKA will hide somewhere in that world. PCs should not find the DOZENKA before LEVEL 4 or 5. Below is a list of effects for each number on the DOZENKA.
1 : Each party member loses all COIN.
2 : Each party member gains 20,000¢.
3 : The party must fight clones of themselves. The clones glow blue. The party cannot flee.
4 : A tiny fairy appears that will be loyal to the party. Once between RESTS, it can add 5 to a character's HEALTH.
5 : Everyone in the party loses the first SKILL on their CHARACTER SHEET.
6 : Everyone in the party gets a third SKILL of their choosing. It is a tiny star that must be carried as EQUIPMENT.
7 : Everyone in the party loses 1 LEVEL. If they were at LEVEL 1, they are DEAD.
8 : Everyone in the party gains 1 LEVEL. If they are at LEVEL 6, they get a MOUNT of their choosing.
9 : A ghost appears and scolds the party for being greedy. It is now their enemy and will appear when least expected.
10 : A deed appears. The space the party occupies now belongs to them. They can use it as their base and decorate it to their tastes.
11 : 11 years elapse, but the party members and their EQUIPMENT have not aged or changed.
12 : A ghost appears and grants the party one wish. The party must decide what to wish for together. Roll a d12 for how many words can be spoken when making the wish.
