The GM can give a PC a CURIO at the start of the game or at any point during the story. A d12 roll can decide which PC gets which CURIO. The GM may design their own CURIOS in place of the ones listed below. CURIOS can remain mysterious trinkets, or the GM can blend them into their story.
1 : A seed that will grow into a stone statue resembling the LIFEFORM that planted it.
2 : A crayon that only writes in an unknown language.
3 : A carved bone that always points toward the nearest grave.
4 : A marble that can project constellations of the night sky on walls and ceilings.
5 : A cameo brooch that whispers the dreams of the lifeform who wears it while they sleep.
6 : A mask that appears to others as the face of a childhood friend.
7 : A mantis wearing a crown trapped in amber.
8 : A balloon that screams while inflated.
9 : A feather that changes colors based on the mood of the LIFEFORM that holds it.
10 : A recipe for an unknown potion. The recipe includes the paper the recipe is written on.
11 : A deed to a tower that no one can remember existing.
12 : A mysterious cocoon that vibrates on the full moon.
